Eddie attended Apopka Senior High School and graduated in 1977. After graduating, he went to serve in the United States Marine Corp. Following his time in the service, Eddie returned to Apopka and married Azzella Lawson and had 4 beautiful children. Throughout the years, Eddie worked various jobs, but two of his most memorable were at Shorty's Stucco and Demo Electric mechanic and all around handyman. In his free time he loved to fish, listen to music, and enjoy his extensive movie collection. Many of his friends describe his as, "being funny without being funny''. He was also known for his trash talking ways, he was truly loved by many and he will be greatly missed. The Lord in His infinite wisdom, deemed it timely to call our beloved Eddie, to his eternal resting place on Monday, November 27, 2023. His departure is a deep and personal loss to his family and friends and his memory will be cherished forever. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Norma Jean Rouse. Maternal Grandparents, Charlie and Mary Holmes. Paternal Grandparents, Lee and Mary Rouse. Uncle James Rouse, Cousins, Gregory Reed and Richard Holmes. He leaves to cherish fond memories: Father, Eddie Rouse Sr. (Lillie) of Mount Dora, Florida; Sons: Antonio Rouse (Paige) of Lake Mary, Florida and Demario Dexter (Elizabeth) of Ocoee, Florida; Daughters: LaTonya Rouse of Ocoee, Florida, Alicen Robinson (Marshon) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Kimberly Patterson of Apopka, Florida; Siblings: Karen Shand (Roy) of Apopka, Florida, Tyrone Scott (Barbara) of Orlando, Florida and Jeanette Williams of Fern Park, Florida; Grandchildren: Jordan Bradley, Abigal Rouse, London Bradley, Grayson Robinson, Ruby Robinson, Makai Dexter and Addison Rouse; Special Aunt/ Cousin: Alvetcher Jones, and Williard Holmes, Jr.; Special Friends: Lula Mae Johnson, Jimmy Robinson, Moe Fair, Sylvester (Duck) Merriweather and a host of cousin, other relatives, and friends.
