Dorothy T. Rolle

Dorothy Rolle was born to the late Reverend Jerome and the late Letha Andrews on September 21, 1930. She was raised in a loving Christian home and accepted the Lord at an early age. Dorothy received her education in Lake County and graduated from Eustis Vocational High School. After completing her schooling, Dorothy married Harcourt Toote. From this union, three children were born: Jane, Carl, and Debbie. Her devotion to God remained steadfast throughout her life, and she later rededicated her life to Christ under the leadership of Bishop Williams. Dorothy would later marry Leo Rolle, with whom she continued her journey of faith and ministry. She was licensed and ordained as an Evangelist by Elder Willie Wright, embracing her calling with passion and commitment. During the 1990’s, Evangelist Rolle and the late Rosa Lee Blocker went on to establish the Prayer Band, a ministry that touched, traveling throughout Lake County to pray with and encourage others. Evangelist Rolle is remembered for her unwavering faith, her dedication to prayer, and her heart for bringing souls to Christ. Her ministry impacted countless individuals, and her legacy of love, service, and spiritual strength will continue to live on in the many lives she touched. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Leo Rolle; daughter, Debbie Toote; her parents, Reverend Jerome and Letha Andrews; sisters, Mildred Harris and Evelyn Coleman. Evangelist Rolle leaves to cherish her memories: a loving daughter, Jane Milsap (John); and son, Carl Toote (Beverly); two (2) bonus children, Willie Williams (Terri) and Pansy Monroe; grandchildren, Nolan McCaskill (Lorinda), Hope Williams, Nico Milsap (Andr’eana), Robert Watson, Sydney Walters (Natasha), Roshanda Gaines, Sparkels Monroe; sister, Barbara Martin Pope; brother-in-law, Lawrence Rolle, Sr.; nephews, William Walker, Pastor Marvin (Donna) Andrews; Pastor Michael Kennedy (Jackie), Raymond Harris, Tyrone Harris (Lydia), Lewis Martin, Leroy Martin (Dametta), Robert Harris, Sr., Ernest Burrows (Tillie) and Lawrence Rolle, Jr.; nieces, Pastor Valarie Brown, Gessner Harris (Lawrence, Jr.), Renay Harris, Phyllis Graham, Wendy B. Rolle; goddaughter, Faye Williams; spiritual daughters, Minister Gina Furlow-Miller, Prophetess Cheylenne Haynes, Minister April Chappell, and Pastor Vernessa Garland; and a host of other relatives and friends.
