Deloris Laverne Yant

Deloris Laverne Yant was born August 11, 1948 in Orlando, Florida to the union of Joseph and Henrietta Warren. She received her formal education through the Orange County Public School System. Deloris accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal Savior at an early age. She was baptized at Lighthouse Tabernacle of Prayer, under the leadership of Bishop Ronnie Davis. Deloris worked for Sunland Hospital, for over 15 years, then became a stay at home mother. Her favorite past times were shopping, watching westerns, spending time with, and spoiling her great grandkids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. She loved her church, family, friends, coworkers, community, and every kid she met. She always greeted you with a “Hey Sweetie”. Deloris transitioned from this earth on September 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Warren, Sr.; mother, Henrietta Warren; brothers: James Warren, Edgar Warren, Joseph Warren, Jr. and McDaniel Warren; sister, Gloria Jean Gray; her eldest daughter, Deloris Danese Taylor; and sister-in-law, Margie Warren. She leaves to cherish her memory to Husband, Ronald Yant, Sr. of Apopka, Florida; Sons: Michael Ellison of Miami, Florida, Dexter Ellison of Rochester, New York, Marvin Ellison of Apopka, Florida, Christopher Sharp of Vine Grove, Kentucky, and Ronald Yant, Jr. of Apopka, Florida; Daughter, Miracle Yant (Noel) of Kissimmee, Florida; Sister-in-law, Dorothy Warren of Atlanta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Jamia Belle of Orlando, Florida, Marvin Ellison, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Marcus Ellison of Apopka, Florida, Eric Ellison of Orlando, Florida, Kamala Ellison of Hoover, Alabama, Matthew Sharp of Apopka, Florida, Tianna Harris of Orlando, Florida, Chria Sharp of Kennesaw, Georgia, Joseph Jenkins, of Orlando, Florida, Misaiah Ellison of Orlando, Florida, and ChriChae Sharp of Baltimore, Maryland; Nephews: John Gray, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia, Skipper Warren of Orlando, Florida, Dexter Warren of Atlanta, Georgia, Cedric Carwise of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kevin Carwise of Atlanta, Georgia; Life-long Sister/Friends: Mary Alice (deceased), Paulette, and Mary McMillan. Delores had many loyal and dedicated friends and we cannot mention you all, but you know who you are. She loved each and every one of you and we thank you for loving her back.
