Dante Dyangulo Robinson

Dante Dyangulo Robinson was born on July 2, 1991, in Kissimmee, Florida to devoted parents, Michael Robinson and Rena Jones-Charrette. He was the youngest of his siblings. He was educated in Kissimmee, Florida, and graduated from North Kissimmee Christian School in 2010 . He immediately enlisted into the United States Army and served our country for 3 years. During his military service Dante was stationed in Tacoma Washington at Fort Lewis. He was deployed to Afghanistan for 6 months and returned to Washington to complete his service with the United States Army. He remained living in Washington where he met and married Miranda (ex-wife). During this union, they had a daughter, Sarai. Later, he had a son Imari with is Fiancé Porsha (deceased). His children were dearly and deeply loved by him. Dante was a very gentle and soft spoken young man. He idolized his grandparents James and Bernice Jones who deeply influenced his spiritual and work ethics. Dante gave his life to Jesus Christ at an early age. He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Remer Baker, Jr. As a member of Shiloh he sang in the youth choir and assisted leading youth devotional services under the supervision of youth supervisor Gladys Smith-McGee. On Tuesday, March 31, 2020 the Lord in his infinite wisdom deemed it time to call our dearly beloved Dante Robinson from our midst. His departure is a deep and personal loss to his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. Dante was preceded in death by his grandmothers; Bernice L. Smith-Jones and Evelyn Robinson, grandfather; James Powell, Sr. aunts; Suzette Jones-Cruz and Pamela Jones-Perkins, uncle; James Powell, Jr. He is survived by his devoted parents: Rena Jones-Charrette and Michael Robinson; step-father: Craig Charrette; grandparent: James Jones, Sr.; beloved daughter: Sarai Luvenia Robinson; son: Imari Joseph Robinson; loving brothers: Angelo Edwards, Demetrius Thornton, and Keaton Robinson; special sisters: Tameka Smallwood, and Tekia Edwards; aunts: Stephanie Jones-Echols (Elijah), Natalie Jones-Prince (Michael), Cathy Jones-Dinateli (Louis), Elsa Castor, Toledo Jones, Shariva JonesRobinson, Nichole Bass and Swazzeta Powell; uncles: James Jones, Jr., Karl Jones (Shawanda), Travis Powell, Joshua Powell; godchild, Laila Donlow; god parents, Elijah and Stephanie Echols; a host of nieces, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
