Charles Chance

Charles Chance was born on December 30, 1958 in Apopka, Florida, to parents, Otis Chance, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Chance. He attended Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida. Charles was a devout man of God who loved his family and God with all of his heart. He was a kind man who enjoyed ministering with his wife at various nursing homes in Orlando, Florida. Charles was funny, loved bringing joy and laughter to others by telling jokes, and enjoyed barbecuing in his spare time. He was the owner and operator of Master Touch Lawn and Tree Service for ten (10) years, serving residences throughout Central Florida in cities like Apopka, Kissimmee, Orlando, and Sanford, just to name a few. After he retired from the landscaping business, he found joy in being a devout husband, stepfather to three (3) daughters, and a grandfather to eight (8) grandchildren. Charles found joy in watching football. His favorite team was the Florida State Seminoles. With all of these hobbies, what Charles loved the most was winning souls for Christ. Over the years, he made a positive impact on the lives of many people. His friends and family will miss him dearly and we celebrate the knowing that he has now joined his father, mother, eldest brother, and two sisters in Heaven. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Otis Chance, Sr.; mother, Johnnie Mae Chance; brothers, Otis Chance, Jr. and Leroy Chance; and sisters, Mary Lee Walker, Rose Lee Little, Barbara Jean Gray, and Amelia Chance. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Lillie Chance; step-children: Shantaya Jackson of Douglasville, Georgia, Keyonna Moon of Atlanta, Georgia, and Bianca Ezebuihe of Dallas, Texas; siblings: Aaron Chance (Ethaleen), Michael Chance, and Christine Brown, all of Orlando, Florida; 8 Grandchildren; Jayden, Nayvee, Krue, Jah’Nai, Jaice, Xaveon, Adaora, Adimnakachim, Luvenya, Ricky (Trenna), Sarah, Brenda, John, Ferlenciel, Greg (Tammy), Kelly (Mike), Dwayne (Yvette), Tracey (Raymond), Lamon, Kimberly, Yulonda (David), Cameron (Charis), Derrick (Ablavi), Eric (Monica), Kevin (Tanisha), Pastor Paula Soto (Nicholas), Fieonda (Gerod), Angel (Lenard), Latasha, Candice, and Shonda (Fred); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
