Breanna Nakia Mackroy

It is with tenderness of heart, that we announce the passing of our beloved Breanna Nakia Mackroy, 32, on March 19, 2025. She was a joy to all who knew and loved her. Breanna entered the world on September 9, 1992, in Orlando, Florida, to parents Bruce Mackroy, Sr. and Diane Mackroy. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior at an early age and was baptized by Reverend C. R. Taylor, of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She remained steadfast in her faith and belief in God. Breanna was very inquisitive and eager to learn. She attended Orange and Lake County Public Schools. Breanna was always an overachiever. She was a cheerleader with the Orlando Flames. In 2011, during her senior year at East Ridge High School, she also did dual enrollment at Lake Sumter Community College, graduating with honors and an Associate of Arts Degree. Breanna continued her quest for excellence by attending the University of Miami in Miami, Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Development and a later Master's Degree in Science. Still pursuing her dream, Breanna enlisted in the United States Army. There was no challenge she could not conquer. Breanna received numerous awards, letters of commendations and plaques for exemplary service throughout her three-year (2014-2017) military career. Upon the completion of her military service, she continued to work for the government as a Classified Government Officer in Cyber Security. She also held numerous LLCs and licenses in Marketing, Real Estate as well as being an entrepreneur. Breanna loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed family gatherings and spreading love. Another favorite pastime was traveling all over the world, exploring every adventure possible. Breanna was kind, compassionate, and loving. Her motto was: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 Breanna was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Mackroy, Sr., paternal grandparents: Eddie Lee and Dorothy Mackroy; maternal grandparents: Willie and Ora Brewer. She leaves cherished memories with her loving mother: Diane Mackroy, Orlando, Florida; 4 brothers: Bryant Brewer, Bruce Mackroy, Jr., Brent Mackroy, all of Orlando, and Sherrod Mackroy of Winter Garden, Florida; Special cousin: Marlon Mackroy of Winter Garden, Florida; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many saddened friends.
