Bertha Lee Bacon

Bertha Lee Bacon, affectionately known as “Lee” was born April 19, 1964 in Oakland, Florida to parents, Theodore Bacon and Violet Winters. Born and raised in Oakland, she attended Orange County Public Schools and graduated from West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida. Lee was a very loving and caring person and mother to her children and grandchildren. Family meant every thing to her as she was considered everyone’s “favorite aunt”. She was always the one to count on in the time of need. Her pride and joy were her grandkids who brought her so much love, peace, and joy. She was fun-loving with a beautiful smile and known to have a funny joke or two. She found peace and solace in the simple things in life, going on nature walks and loved spending time in the park. Lee gave her life to Christ and was baptized at True Vision in Christ Church of Orlando, Florida under the leadership of Bishop Carolyn H. Green. Upon joining, she became a part of a loving church family who contributed to her walk with Christ and served faithfully on the Usher Board until her health began to decline. Lee loved the Lord and her church, no matter the obstacles life presented, she NEVER wavered or let go of her faith. To know her was to love her. Not only will her beautiful smile, wonderful conversation, and funny jokes be missed, we will cherish every moment we had with you and forever hold you in our hearts and hold on to her loving memories. Lee was preceded in death by her Father, Theodore Bacon; Brother, Mandrell Winters; Grandfather, Ray Goggins; and Grandmother, Bertha Goggins. Left to cherish her memories are her Sons: Trillshun Bacon of Apopka, Florida, and Vincent Luckett of Oakland, Florida; Daughters: Latoria Bacon of Oakland, Florida and Ebony Luckett of Orlando, Florida; Mother, Violet Winters of Oakland, Florida; Brothers: Jerry Bacon (Jasmine) of Orlando, Florida and Anthony Bacon of Orlando, Florida; Sisters: Juanita Flowers of Orlando, Florida, Cynthia Hamilton of Orlando, Florida, and Tresha Winters of Apopka, Florida; Grandson, Trillshun Bacon, Jr. and Brycen Madison; Granddaughters: Brenariah Madison, Kamyah Doggett, and Vinesha Luckett; 2 Special Godchildren: Kourtney Hardwick and Destinee Hardwick; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, church family and friends.
