Anna Lee Harrison

Anna Lee Anderson Harrison was born on June 27, 1947 to parents, Samuel Green Sr. and Mary Anderson Green in Charleston, South Carolina. At an early age, she understood the true meaning of family and supported her family in whatever ways she could. The family later moved from Charleston, South Carolina to Immokalee, Florida. Anna attended the Bethune School in Immokalee. Anna loved the Lord and received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Later, the family moved to Fort Myers, Florida where Anna worked in the Agricultural and Farming Industry in both Collier and Lee County for many years. In 1996, Anna married Maxie Harrison, Sr. in Fort Myers, Florida. They later moved to Montgomery, Alabama. While in Montgomery, Anna and Maxie became faithful members of First Baptist Church of Greater Washington Park. Anna loved cooking for her family and friends. She was very creative with whatever dish she prepared. She also loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. On Thursday, June 27th at 12:37p.m., Anna Lee Anderson Harrison transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly home while at Advent Health Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Anna was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel Green, Sr. and Mary Anderson Green, husband: Maxie Harrison Sr., sister: Nancy Bowens and brother: Samuel Green, Jr. Anna leaves to cherish her precious memories, her five sons: Anthony Anderson Sr. (Marquita), Kenneth Campbell (Tonia), Gary Campbell (Alkissa), Frank Anderson Jr., and Maxie Harrison, Jr.; two daughters: Amanda Campbell Porter (William) and Clara Sears; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; five brothers: David Anderson, Sr. (Annette), Luther Anderson, Earnest Anderson, Donald Green (Brenda) and Ronald Green; one sister: Sandra James; three special friends: Lorene Dessin, Jessie White and Gwendolyn Jarvis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Ms. Veronica White for her countless acts of kindness. We are thankful that God placed this wonderful woman in our lives and will forever miss her.
