Ahmad Rayshaud Stafford ''Big Papa''

Ahmad R. Stafford was born on July 24th, 1979, to Constance Stafford and Raymond Givens in Orlando, Florida. “Big Papa”, as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Lake County School System and became a graduate of South Lake High School in 1998. Ahmad thrived for years in the construction and masonry industries. At the time of his passing, he was a forklift operator at Primus Pipe & Tube Inc. Ahmad enjoyed spending time with his family, specifically his children, & friends. He fervently sought avenues to gain knowledge and better himself as an individual. Ahmad found brotherhood through freemasonry. He was a member of Palestine Lodge #30 PHA (Prince Hall affiliated) of Leesburg, Florida. Ahmad was a jewel to his community. His spirit was one of a kind. Ahmad was notorious for his infectious laugh and comedic personality. Majority of the people whom he has encountered, either has a joke, funny story, or nickname that they’ve gotten from him. Ahmad’s legacy will live through the many lives that he’s touched. He was a Miami Hurricane fan, tried and true and a Stuckey Boy for life. On October 17, 2022, Ahmad was called from labor and laid down his working tools. Ahmad was preceded in death by his mother, Constance “Connie” Stafford of Stuckey, FL, whom he always held close to his heart. Ahmad leaves to cherish his memories: His Grandmother, Ruby Ceil Stafford of Stuckey FL; Father, Raymond (Rosetta) Givens of Leesburg, FL; Lifetime Partner: Yashica Brooks of Leesburg, FL; Children: Makayla Leak and Thomas “Buddy Rowe” Grant, both of Leesburg, FL; Two Sisters: Jennifer (Boykin) Stafford-Jones of Orlando, FL and Marcelia Gail Smith of Tavares, FL; Four Brothers: Deryl (Shirley) Boyd of Lady Lake, FL, Synod Boyd of Synod, Virginia, Blaine Johnson of Leesburg, FL, and Gerald (Deborah) Givens of Mascotte, FL; Two Aunts: Gloria Stafford of Stuckey, FL and Gloria Givens of Leesburg, FL; Four Uncles: Calvin Stafford of Stuckey, FL, Curtis (Nora) Stafford of Lady Lake, FL, Richard Stafford of Columbus, GA, and Willie (Catherine) Givens of Fruitland Park, FL. Ahmad also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an loving friends to cherish his memories.
